my octopus teacher
My octopus teacher
She lives
In the kelp forest she has 2,000 suckes she has horns on her head. She has ink guns. She’s like an old lady in a Dress. It's like she’s camo. It hides itself by changing color. In this picture the octopus is hiding in this pile of shells. It hides from pj sharks because pj sharks kill octopus. Octopus are like rockets in the sea; they go so fast.
The octopus was spotted by a pj shark. The pj shark ate an arm off the octopus then the pj shark went away. The next day the octopus was moving very slowly because her arm got ripped off!!
A couple days later the octopus was better its arm was better it had grown back it was better than ever 100 days later she went out of her cave
Then she got spotted by a pj shark she used her rockets and away she went it was a big chase the pj shark was going as fast as it could the octopus hid in a vine of seaweed it took a while for the pj shark to find
Her he sniffed her out he spotted her and the chase was on again she
Was running as fast as she could she jumped onto a Island the was very
Small after she went back into the water but in the water was the pj
Shark after a while he pj shark lost the octopus the octopus went back
To its den.

my speech
I AM GOING TO DISCUSS WHY I SHOULD BE PRIME MINISTER!, HI MY NAME IS NEO……...
I Think i would be a Great prime minister because I would have more ELECTRIC CARS for better air, less pollution and a sustainable environment for future generations.
Also! I would spend money on making Northlands ROADS BETTER, so cars don’t get too damaged, more sealed roads, less potholes.
As well, as prime minister I would insist on MORE TREES BEING PLANTED to help the environment. I would like to see more fruit trees planted in towns and cities, to help feed people as well as taking care of the environment. Especially, orange, kiwi fruit pears, and feijoas because I like them. Trees provide oxygen, shelter, good to hug, shade, fire-wood, can be used to make furniture and they are good for the soil.
It has been proven that living by or near trees improves your well-being by making you fit, healthier and happier.
And also if I was prime minister, I would give food to the SPCA for the animals. Currently the government only funds less than 1% of the total amount that it costs to run the SPCA yearly. It cost $43million dollars to run the SPCA. I would increase the amount to 3% per year because the SPCA does a magnificent job at protecting the animals, especially neglected animals.
Also if i was prime minister i would ... give every school in NZ a field to play on because i like playing on fields it keeps you fit and you can play so many sports like soccer rugby and games like tag Master and Fitness .
Now that is why i think i would be a great prime minister i hope you Enjoyed listening to my speech.

THE DAY MY MOUTH WAS WATERY
3 cups Edmonds standard flour
6 tsp Edmonds baking powder
¼ tsp salt
extra Meadow Fresh milk
75g butter
1 to 1½ cups Meadow Fresh milk, approximately
METHOD`
Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Grease or flour a baking tray.
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add the milk and quickly mix with a round-bladed table knife to a soft dough. For light and tender scones the mixture should be quite soft and a little sticky. Scrape the dough onto the floured baking tray and flour the top.
Working quickly, pat the dough out to 2cm thickness and with a floured knife cut it into 12 even-sized pieces, then separate the scones to allow 2cm space between them. Brush the tops with milk.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool, wrapped in a clean tea towel to keep them soft.
